Chasing dreams

Welcome to our first post on the Girls vs Tourism blog!

Now you must all be wondering who is hiding behind these words "our blog" and we are happy to tell you that this team consists of 21-year-olds Danijela and Sanela, best friends, tourism students and travel enthusiasts. We like to learn about tourism and get to know diverse cultures. We are both big feminists who like to read various kinds of books. We are connected by the fact that we have travelled a lot, thereby gaining a lot of experience and now we have finally taken a big step together, in which you will also be very present. Since every "journey" begins with a single step. Some of us travel because we don't know what to do with ourselves. We know that we don't know everything very well before we tackle or start something. That is why to start it; we must start it. But we forget that we don't even know what awaits us out there somewhere, so we keep coming back, either home or to a popular destination or always somewhere else.

Our purpose and goal of the blog is that you readers will gain courage and inspiration for traveling with our instructions, recommendations, and experiences. We want to show you, prove how easy it can be to travel alone or with a friend, what you need to be prepared for and be aware of.

The slogan of the blog will be ''Safer with knowledge.'', because we believe that there is never too much knowledge, and it is always better to be more informed than not enough. (best to memorize it now, as you will see and read it multiple times).

Remember that happiness is a journey, not a destination.
