When night experiences turn into an unpleasant experience?!

Spending the night on the coast is an annual summer tradition, and there is nothing better than that, because such experiences are memorable for a lifetime.

We love the way the night lights sparkle on the water and that's why we always go for night walks along the shore. We've always had great memories of nightlife on the coast, but like any good thing, it can quickly turn into an unpleasant experience, and unfortunately it did for us too. We went for a night walk in Portoroz, as we do every year when we are on the Slovenian coast.

At that time, we were on vacation with two other friends, and we went to the central beach together. We really enjoyed each other's company, so we sat down on the pier and talked. We were so engrossed in the conversation that we didn't notice that three younger men had come up to us.

They were saying something to us in a foreign unknown language, until one of them grabbed our friend and wanted to throw her into the water. That's when it immediately became clear to us that it was time to leave. We occupied the man with our friend, thereby convincing him to let his friend go. The moment he let her go, we started running away.

Unfortunately, they followed us until we ran to an open bar, where we hid among a group of people. We sat down at the table and ordered drinks to pass the time before heading back to the hotel.

Thank God we saw an elderly couple staying at our hotel. We asked if we could go with them to the hotel, as we were afraid that they would follow us. Of course, they immediately agreed, for which we are still very grateful to them today.

Until the end of the vacation, we were afraid that we would meet them somewhere, but we were lucky that we didn't. We tried to forget about that moment and continue to enjoy our well-deserved vacation.

The lesson we advise you is to get out of the way as soon as possible, because you never know what someone has over the edge.
