1. Rent a car or a scooter because Dubrovnik and its surroundings are wonderful.

2. Always have cash with you because all bars, shops, etc. do not accept payment cards.

3. Don't wear a skirt on your research day; you never know what situation you'll find yourself in.

4. There are tons of 4- and 5-star hotels available, but if you're on a budget, you'll get better value for money staying in a rental apartment (speaking from experience).

5. Be sure to visit the old town and walk through the town houses, but don't limit yourself to this area.

6. Spend the day on two of the most beautiful beaches, such as Sveti Jakov and Pasjača, and go on a day trip to the island of Lokrum; you will definitely like it.

7. Of course, go on a tour where Game of Thrones was filmed, but take the time to get to know the real history of Dubrovnik.

8. Watch the sunset on the low Srđ mountain.

9. Don't forget to try their famous fresh oysters.

10. Dubrovnik is a city full of surprises, so indulge yourself. ;)
