Our experience with the hotel..

This is definitely an occasion that you think can only happen in the movies, but it happened to us too. Many times, we prefer to choose a hotel for travel because we think it is a safer option, but you can never be completely sure, as this occasion is a testament to that.

It was the first time we chose a four-star hotel; the check-in at the reception was fine; we got the key; and we went to the room. We remember that we talked, and when we opened the door, we didn't even see a pair of shoes, a bottle of water, or a suitcase, and we heard a man shouting, "You gave me a room that is already occupied!".

Thank God we were together, because we were so scared then, but we can laugh about it now, but imagine if you were all alone or if you were in a room and someone you didn't expect came in.

We were a bit dissatisfied, but it happens. In such a situation, regardless of everything, it is best to remain calm and go to the reception to correct this mistake. So, we still go to the hotel again and again because such incidents are few and far between.

If you are traveling alone or with a friend, whatever accommodation you will be staying in, make sure you lock the door. Bring a portable door lock. Take care of yourself!
