First trip together <3

It's been a while since the first post on this blog, as well as since our first trip together. I'm sure we all agree that few people influence our happiness as much as the person we go on a trip with, especially if it's our first solo trip together, because friends are the family, we choose for ourselves. Let's be honest - traveling is always sooo much better when we share it with someone special.

From personal experience, we can say that traveling from our own country is the best thing we have done so far. We chose our neighbour country Italy as our first destination (Ciao, the land of wine, romance, aesthetic life and much more...), as it is certainly one of the most beautiful and best countries in the world.

Safety on a trip, trip or it is a very important thing in everyday life, as well as our trip to Italy. Although Italy is generally considered one of the safer places, it is still better to inquire about any travel scams.

We were hit by a "mild travel scam", but it's still worth noting so that you may be more careful than we were. As we all know, Italy has been using the Euro unit for a long time, but some people still use the old 500 Lire coins (which are worthless) – they are very similar to the 2 Euro coin. This scam happened to us in Verona at one of the stands where locals sell their products to tourists. We ourselves love these types of stalls because we bring souvenirs from our travels to remember the trip, and as always, we also bought some souvenirs with money and got back a couple of coins, which were Lire and we only found out in the next bar. So, the lesson of this post is to always check the coins returned from the vendor/ waiter, that it has the € unit written on it.
