“Autumn is the second spring when every leaf is a flower.” – Albert Camus
When you think of autumn, you probably imagine colourful foliage, rainy days, knitted sweaters and warm teas, boiled wine that give warmth and a pleasant atmosphere. But did you know it’s also the perfect travel season?
Autumn is our favourite time of year, so we are always happy to see autumn. When the calendar turns to October, we are ready to climb into a comfy sweater, light an autumn candle and drink plenty of hot drinks.
Forget about the summer heat or winter cold. Autumn offers perfect temperatures for traveling. It is not too hot, and it is not too cold. Instead, imagine soft and slightly foggy weather mixed with cool temperatures and clear days.
Autumn is a wonderful time to travel, as the changing foliage illuminates the landscape in all shades of red, orange, and yellow. Whether you’re a photographer or simply enjoy nature’s wonders like we do, the autumn landscape is sure to take your breath away. Take a walk in the woods, it will be great for you.
Add crispy leaves under your feet and you’ll get the perfect recipe for comfortable walking and cycling all day long. Autumn cuisine is very different. Think of ripe fruits and vegetables such as apples, pears and pumpkins, and the best must you’ve ever drank. Treat yourself to picking fruits, stroll through the market or sit down in the restaurant, where you are served a farmer’s table and indulge in delicious seasonal dishes.
Till next time. :)
